Runbook: Intapp High CPU Alert

Purpose

Use this runbook when an Intapp VM or platform component reports sustained high CPU usage.

Investigation Steps

1. Confirm the affected resource.
2. Review CPU trend for the last 1 hour and 24 hours.
3. Check whether the spike aligns with backup, patching or batch processing.
4. Review top processes.
5. Check recent deployments or scheduled jobs.
6. Confirm user impact.
7. Compare against previous alert history.

Resolution Options

• Restart affected service if approved
• Scale up temporarily if capacity is constrained
• Raise a CIM if the alert is recurring
• Escalate to Application Support for process-level investigation
